Corporate Resource Manager

Overview:

Baringa has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Resource Manager to join our fantastic Staffing team where you will be integral to supporting the growth of Baringa.

The Staffing team really are at the heart of the business and support the business with regards to streamlining and coordinating the staffing process alongside taking ownership of any associates that work on our projects on client’s site. As such, the role is split between these two areas and will require you to work closely with the different Business Units and build excellent relationships. There is also an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to shape the future of the resourcing team, looking at operating models, alongside the rapid growth of the firm and our international offices, to define the best route forward for the future.

What will you be doing?

Staffing: (40%)

  • Govern the staffing process across all BU’s, ensuring that there is clear visibility on resource availability, demand requirements, and potential staffing matches

  • Build relationships with BU leadership

  • Host and run weekly Cross Business Unit staffing call in which all business unit staffing leads attend to determine where client demand can be supported across different business units.

  • Managing a team of 2 - 3 resource co-ordinators, ensuring all business units (17) are receiving the correct level of support and being challenge to make the right staffing decisions.

  • Responsible for reviewing and managing resource coordinators workload

  • Liaises with the staffing leads for each BU to understand current resource availability situation

  • Responsible for organising weekly staffing calls, chairing the calls and follow-up

  • Identifying and driving improvements across the staffing process

Associates: (40%)

  • Own the validation process to ensure that appropriate internal demand fulfilment options have been exhausted before going down the associate staffing route.

  • Engage with BU and Sector leadership to source the necessary approvals required to onboard associates.

  • Be accountable for the relationships with all 3rd party associate providers

  • Own the feedback loop between the business and the associate for role/resource selection

  • Responsible for ensuring a ‘best in class’ end-to-end Associate experience

  • Arranges interviews, meetings and calls as necessary

  • Is responsible for ensuring that Associates have the necessary paperwork in place to be compliant with current legislation and Baringa’s Associate policy

  • Seeks to continuously improve the function and service it provides e.g. communication, assessment, reporting

  • Own Baringa’s IR35 compliance

     

Reporting: (20%)

  • Provide the leadership with a clear and accurate utilisation forecast for the future 12 weeks (run and distributed a weekly basis).

  • Responsible for accuracy of monthly forecast for each business unit created at the start of each month using all supply and demand data.

  • Responsible for reporting HMRC Business Intermediary Report quarterly

  • Reviewing production of a monthly associate margin report which is distributed to each business unit.

  • A candidate with experience working in a resourcing department or within a resourcing process
  • Experience within a professional services/management consultancy environment
  • Experience in managing other team members and their work load
  • Experience of developing and driving change with in resource management including implementation of staffing tools
  • Ability to hold senior stakeholder to accountable for process compliance
  • Able to prioritise and respond efficiently and effectively
  • Credibility when speaking to both candidates and Baringa stakeholders

  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Advanced experience and knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience or knowledge of 3rd party resource management tools (Kimble, Mavenlink etc) would be an additional benefit
