Corporate International Business Delivery Manager

Following Baringa’s increasing international presence we are currently recruiting for an International Business Delivery Manager. This is a newly created role which sits within our International Business Delivery function, a newly formed corporate team responsible for ensuring that all international offices and teams have the necessary corporate support across the full breadth of the corporate function(i.e. HR, Finance, Change Management, IT, Executive Assistance etc.).

The team will be involved in regular engagement with the leads/nominated resource for each international presence to ascertain underlying issues associated with business service support delivery and managing the delivery of remediation plans across the corporate function, in conjunction with colleagues from the respective corporate teams, to ensure issue resolution.
The function is also responsible for continued development and deployment of the new Market Entry Framework, with the aim of providing a standardised structure for Baringa Partners to enter new markets.

What will you be doing?
International Office / Business Engagement
  • Own the regular cadence of engagement with the leadership of each international geography.
  • Be the single point of contact for all new international business requirements and issue resolution requests to the corporate team.
  • Assist international office resources with the identification of issues relating to any aspect of corporate support.
  • Maintain a log of all reported issues, along with their associated corporate team ownership, action plan, due dates, and dependencies.
  • Escalate serious / critical international office issues raised by the leadership of or resources in any international office location to the Business Management and Change director.

Issue Remediation & Action Plan Ownership

  • Manage stakeholder expectations across the business around the timeframe for and delivery of mitigation / remediation plans to resolve issues reported by the international businesses
  • Engage with other relevant corporate teams (e.g. HR, Finance etc.) on a regular basis to highlight new issues identified from any international office location.
  • Drive the development of action plans associated with issue remediation, in conjunction with resources from the relevant corporate team(s).
  • Engage with other relevant corporate teams (e.g. HR, Finance etc.) to track implementation of agreed action plans for resolution of all previously identified issues.
  • Own engagement with 3rd parties (e.g. external legal support) for queries relating to resolving issues identified by any international geography
  • Escalate non-delivery of remediation / mitigation actions by any area within the wider corporate function to the Business Management and Change director.

Reporting and Metrics

  • Own the development of a standardised International Business Delivery reporting dashboard, including the development of relevant key metrics and KPIs which support delivery of corporate functions into all international offices.
  • Provide reporting to the Business Management and Change director and other senior internal stakeholders on a regular cadence.

Market Entry Framework

  • Complete the development of any remaining areas of the Market Entry Framework 
  • Own the stakeholder engagement associated with the socialisation of the Market Entry Framework to the current international geographies as well as to the Exec and wider Partnership.
  • Own subsequent / future updates to the Market Entry Framework when deemed necessary based on experience, stakeholder feedback, or any other trigger for change to the framework.
  • Own the engagement with senior stakeholders across the business for the implementation of the Market Entry Framework for any new geographies.
  • Manage and directly control the end-to-end delivery of new market entry and its associated governance process, supporting the Business Unit / Sector lead with adherence to the framework, and ensuring that the right levels of governance for all new market entry suggestions have been applied.
  • Escalate non-compliance with the Market Entry Framework to the Business Management and Change director.
  • Provide initial / basic quality assurance around the documentation associated with compliance with the Market Entry Framework, including: 
              o Validation that all necessary documents have been completed
              o Validation that all mandatory information has been provided
              o Validation that all provided information is relevant and correct within the context of the request and the stage of activity underneath the framework
  • Support the physical activities associated with new market entry where requested by the business.  
  • Own engagement with 3rd parties (e.g. external legal support) for queries relating to new market entry and its delivery under the Market Entry Framework.
