Baringa Returners Programme

Baringa Partners is an independent business and technology consultancy, operating across Financial Services, Energy & Resources and Products & Services. We use our industry insights, ideas and pragmatism to help each client improve their business. Collaboration is central to our strategy and culture. It’s why our clients love working with us, and our people too.
We believe we are a great place to work – but it’s not just us that says that. We won the top spot in 2017 in the Great Place to Work awards and have been recognised in the top 10 for the last 10 consecutive years.
What will you be doing?
About our Returners Programme

Our 20-week programme is aimed at individuals who have taken a career break of 2+ years and are looking to return into the working environment on either a 4 or 5-day week basis. During your time with us you will have the opportunity to work on interesting client-facing projects whilst supported by a network of individuals, including your Sponsor, Baringa Project Manager and wider peer group.
Alongside the training that Baringa will provide, you will also receive bespoke external coaching from our partner organisation, Women Returners.
At the end of this programme there is the opportunity of a permanent position.
What’s in it for both of us?
What's in it for you?
The flexibility of working a 4-day week (Tues – Fri), or 5-day week if preferred, in a supportive and engaging environment:
  • You will have the opportunity to take real ownership of your work on interesting and stimulating projects, which are at the forefront of the industries in which we operate
  • You will receive training from Baringa and have access to external coaching from our partner organisation Women Returners.
  • Access to a fantastic support network to help you be successful in your new role
  • Lots of opportunity for networking, social events, and informal learning sessions through brown bags in a relaxed and friendly organisation.
Our offices are based in Southwark, London, however our clients are spread throughout the UK. Whilst every opportunity will be made for you to work on a London-based project, there may be a possibility of you being placed on an out-of-town project. However we do set expectations with clients that individuals will be based in our London office on a Friday, so you would never spend any more than 2 nights away from home (3 nights if a 5-day week) – as a worst case scenario.
Flexible depending on level / experience and is paid at a rate relative to our internal bandings for the respective level.
Application process
  • The closing date for applications is 7th June 2019, with assessment centres being held for successful applicants between the 10th and 19th June
