Resources Opportunities

Overview:
From designing target operating models to implementing integrated trading systems, our Resources business unit works across all major commodities. You will work as part of a core team delivering exciting and complex programmes for our clients such as oil majors, commodity trading houses and brokers through to clients whose prime business is exploration and production. Here are some examples of projects we typically get involved in: 
  • Business restructuring: designing and implementing operating models for complex global organisations that cover the full commodity lifecycle 
  • Trading systems: implementation, upgrades and system selections 
  • Operational efficiencies: performing studies to identify efficiencies for our clients using our industry leading thought leadership and expertise Regulatory change: advising our clients on new and changing regulation as well as designing and implementing systems and processes to support their regulatory requirements 
  • Supply chain optimisation: advising our clients on key areas of supply chain including Capital Projects, Asset MRO, Trading & Shipping, Inbound & Manufacture and Outbound to Customer 
What will you be doing?

So what are we looking for?

  • Relevant project/delivery experience within a management consultancy or industry player. Your experience should include one of these three areas:
    • Commodity trading system design and implementation 
    • Operational effectiveness & process improvement
    •  Digital transformation
  • Ability to work flexibly across subjects and geographies
  • The ability to take ownership and deliver results in challenging, client-facing environments 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
