Corporate Learning and Development Manager

Overview:

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Learning & Development specialist to join our dynamic and forward thinking L&D team.

What will you be doing?

As the L&D Manager, you will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious strategic goals and will join us at a seminal point in our journey to become a truly Modern Learning Organisation where our people can learn anywhere, anytime.  You will have a high degree of visibility and close partnership with the business, owning significant responsibility for shaping and delivering the development offering.

The role reports to the Head of Learning and Development and is focused on consultancy, design and delivery of high quality development initiatives.  You will initiate and drive forward significant improvements which will increase knowledge, skills and performance across the company, enabling staff to reach their full potential (‘be the best they can be’).

What’s in it for both of us?
What's in it for us?

Already a passionate Learning and Development professional, you’ll bring a creative and innovative approach to learning, including an understanding of the potential of digital learning.  You’ll be self-motivated and confident in managing yourself, with the ability to successfully influence others and bring people with you.  You will have the experience to know when to support and when to challenge and you’ll be excited and genuinely interested in the prospect of future integration of learning technologies alongside building and delivering high quality face to face learning.

What's in it for you?

Well, it’s up to you. Baringa is what you make it.
  • Ability to work closely with senior stakeholders across Baringa

  • See something that needs improving / fixing? Pro-activity is valued highly; you’ve got the chance to help us improve as a business, from developing new referral strategies to reviewing our assessment process

  • We know one size doesn’t fit all and go to great lengths to ensure that people are treated as individuals. We aim to provide the level of support that will meet your personal needs

  • We have had some great achievements this year; winning a top ten spot in the UK for the twelfth successive year by the Great Place to Work Institute. As well as being recognised for our leadership on workplace gender equality by being named in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women 2018
