Corporate Marketing Assistant - Content Creator and Editor

Overview:

We are looking for a digitally savvy, creative, ambitious and results-driven junior marketer who will be working closely with the marketing lead for the energy & resources practice, and support the growth of Baringa in the UK and its international markets. You will be involved in the development of content, social media and web publishing, creation of multimedia assets such as videos, podcasts and animations, and many other marketing tasks to ensure the smooth running of the marketing function.

This role will appeal to someone who is creative, curious, analytical and self-motivated; someone who has great copywriting skills and knows how to create and edit videos and podcasts; someone who is highly organised and can stay on top of priorities and requests.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities:

  • Developing of digital marketing assets (e.g. recording and editing videos and podcasts)

  • Writing engaging content on a variety of topics, reviewing and editing blogs

  • Managing the client-events calendar, invitation process and event logistics

  • Representing the marketing function in a number of corporate initiatives e.g. alumni

  • The ability to develop a range of marketing assets suitable for on-line and off-line distribution
  • A 2:1 or higher from a well-respected university
  • Ability to complement content with additional research
  • A delivery mind-set
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions from quantitative and qualitative data
  • Excellent organisational/time-management skills
  • Basic tech and design capabilities: e.g HTML, Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, podcast and video editin
  • Good Microsoft skills, specifically xls and ppt
